NOTICE – BOROUGH COUNCIL VACANCY

A vacancy currently exists on the Borough Council (“Council”) for the Borough of Malvern (“Borough”) for the term ending in January, 2026. The person appointed to fill the vacancy will be entitled to hold the office until a successor is elected at the November 7, 2023, municipal general election. Council will accept nominations at its regularly scheduled public meeting on June 20, 2023, at 7:30 PM at Borough Hall, 1 E. First Avenue, Malvern, PA 19355 and intends to appoint a nominated candidate on or before July 18, 2023.  Interested parties should attend and be prepared to speak at the June 20, 2023, meeting and may contact the Malvern Borough Manager at 610-644-2602 or via email at malvern@malvern.org for more information.  Members of Council shall be registered voters of the Borough and shall have been residents continuously for at least one (1) year preceding their appointment, may not be otherwise ineligible or disqualified from holding the office, and must remain continuous residents during their term of office.  Additional information on the functions of Council may be found in Article II of the Borough’s Home Rule Charter.  Any person who is interested in serving in this capacity may submit a letter of interest, résumé, or other supporting materials to Council via the Borough Manager, Tiffany M.
