Malvern Police Department: Blue Beards for Charity 2023!

Blue Beards for Charity

Blue Beards for Charity 2023

As fall descends upon us, the air gets crisper, the leaves are changing, and for the police officers of Chester County, it's "beard-growing season" again!! Blue Beards for Charity, an initiative spearheaded by dedicated police officers in Chester County, is proud to announce the launch of our annual charity event.

Blue Beards for Charity was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to give back to the community that we serve and protect every day. In the spirit of camaraderie and community support, participating officers make a charitable donation and are granted permission to grow facial hair throughout October and November.

This year, Blue Beards for Charity remains committed to its core mission of supporting local causes. This event will continue to raise funds for four outstanding local charities: Unite for Her, The Sambuco Children's Education Fund, A Child's Light, and the Chester County Crime Victims Center.

In 2022, our charitable efforts achieved a remarkable milestone, raising over $60,000 to support these essential causes. With the continued growth of this event and the participation of even more officers in 2023, we are confident that this year's efforts will surpass our previous achievements.

All donations can be sent to Blue Beards for Charity and funds will be dispersed at a publicized event at the end of November. Every participating department will be invited to attend this meaningful event.

Blue Beards for Charity is eager to expand its impact by inviting the private sector to join us in this noble endeavor. We encourage individuals, businesses, and organizations alike to contribute to our mission of making a positive difference in the community. We are pleased to announce that all donations are tax-deductible.
