The Borough of Malvern (Borough) is looking to hire a Permit Clerk & Administrative Assistant. This is a full-time, entry-level position, with room for advancement. The Borough is seeking a long-term employee who will receive training and instruction to be successful in the position. The position will be filled through a competitive interview process with Borough Management. The major function of this position is to perform administrative duties for the office. Hourly rate $15.00-$17.00 with excellent benefits; actual salary to be determined based on experience/qualifications.

The Malvern Borough (Borough) Public Works Department is hiring a full-time skilled laborer for its Public Works Department. The position will be filled by a competitive interview through the Borough’s Superintendent of Public Works. The primary duties of the position are the performance of general maintenance duties for the Public Works Department. Pennsylvania CDL license Class B is required (Class A with airbrake enforcement preferred). The ability to operate most equipment required. Physical work required including mowing, patching, climbing, and digging. The successful candidate must occasionally lift and/or move weights of 50 lbs. or more and be available during emergencies and on-call approximately 10 weekends per year. The successful candidate must have a satisfactory background check(s). Hourly rate $22.00-$31.00 with excellent benefits; actual salary to be based on experience/qualifications.
