Learn about Grove Church’s rich history—once referred to as “the country church”—now in its 250th year of worship! Tracing its roots to George Hoffman, the farmer who hosted the first congregational meeting in his home (with Methodist Bishop Francis Asbury preaching), Grove has had three church buildings, a school, two parsonage/ office buildings and the cemetery on its campus through the years.
