Malvern Gardeners' Market
The Malvern Gardeners' Market will be held on Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm at Burke Park from July 19th through September 27th. Produce grown by local residents will be available for purchase. Visit the market's website at www.malverngardenmarket.org for more information.
Historical Commission - Walking Tour July 24th
The Malvern Historical Commission will be hosting a Walking Tour on Thursday, July 24th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with tours leaving from McGuigan Hall at ten-minute intervals. Come share the distaff side of Malvern Borough’s history. Malvern women have cared for their husbands and children, jobs, churches, clubs, schools, public library, Fire Company, businesses and society from the 1830’s to the present. Walk through the borough neighborhoods and hear how women played a vital part in the development of Malvern Borough.
Fall Festival for the Arts & Paws in the Park - October 5th
Sunday, October 5, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. is the annual Fall Festival for the Arts along King Street and in Burke Park. Put the date on your calendar and support this event sponsored by the Malvern Business & Professional Association. Crafts, Food, Music, Free Kids Activities, Pet Parade and Pet Show!! Come out, bring your friends and enjoy the day!!
Great Valley Ice Hockey Club
The Great Valley Ice Hockey Club is seeking student athletes (boys and girls) of all ages (Elementary through High School) for the 2008-2009 Season. No previous skating or hockey experience is needed. The club seeks players of all skill levels (beginner to AAA/Tier 1). Any player from public or private school residing in the Great Valley School District is eligible to participate. Do not be concerned if you have no previous ice hockey experience; our experienced coaching staff will teach you the fundamentals you'll need to have fun and make the most of it.
