Mayor

Our Mayor is Gerard J. McGlone. “Jerry” served  on the Planning Commission and Borough Council prior to his election as Mayor in 2002. Jerry graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in Land Use Planning, and worked as a Planner for the Chester County Planning Commission, as a Traffic Planner with Pennoni Associates, and as an Employee Benefits Consultant. He is currently a Practice Leader with Trion. Jerry grew up in West Chester; he has resided in Malvern Borough since 1998 with his wife Jennifer, son Jake, and daughter Kate. What Jerry likes most about Malvern … “ is the great people who live in the town and how great a place it is to raise children and create life-long friendships”.
