Since March 2020, Malvern Borough has been operating in adherence to the recommendations and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the PA Department of Health, and the Chester County Health Department. At this time, Malvern Borough’s COVID-19 Emergency Declaration, adopted on March 17, 2020, remains in place. As Chester County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are moving to the next phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, Malvern Borough will be modifying its practices and efforts. Malvern Borough Hall re-opened to the public effective June 1, 2021.
All individuals entering Borough Hall must wear a mask when inside the building.
Individuals making tax and/or sewer bill payments are still encouraged to mail in payments or place payments in an envelope in the dropbox located at the exterior of Borough Hall. An option to pay by credit card is available on the Borough website.
Malvern Borough has resumed in person attendance for all public meetings. A virtual meeting option remains available for all public meetings via Zoom. Zoom meeting links will be indicated on the Borough website and on meeting agendas. All individuals attending public meetings in person must wear a mask until further notice.
Malvern Public Library
The Malvern Public Library is happy to announce that they are returning to their regular open hours starting on June 1, 2021.
Masks will still be required for entry.
The Malvern Public Library will be open to browse 6 days a week, including Fridays. The hours will be as follows:
Mondays & Tuesdays from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
Wednesdays & Thursdays from 9:00 am – 6:30pm
Fridays from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturdays from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Computers will be available for public use starting on June 1, 2021 by appointment. To ensure fair access to the Malvern Public Library, computer use will be limited to one (1) hour at this time.
